Redeemer City to City

Redeemer City to City is the missions arm of Redeemer, and they help local leaders start churches in global cities by providing content resources, renewable grants, local networks and comprehensive training.

Redeemer City to City hopes to build a global movement of leaders and practitioners who build upon and adapt our “DNA” to create new churches, new ventures and new expressions of the gospel of Jesus Christ for the common good.

By 2030, 60% of the world is expected to live in urban areas. Churches must be everywhere the world’s people are, but there are enormous challenges to urban ministry. Redeemer City to City (CTC) is a non-profit organization founded out of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, that prayerfully recruits, trains, coaches and resources leaders who cultivate gospel movements in global cities. Our vision is for a world-changing, city-renewing, gospel-centered global church. CTC’s core competencies are urban church planting, leadership development and content creation.

CTC was co-founded and is chaired by Dr. Tim Keller. The team is based in New York City and overseas, and is at work in the global cities of Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and North America. To date, CTC has helped to start 423 new churches in 56 cities, trained 13,000+ new leaders in city ministry and evangelism, published 28 resources to help recruit, empower and develop these leaders, and helped to form 50 gospel networks around the globe.

All of this is done to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to cities.
